Latest Updates on the 2025 JAMB Examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently conducted the Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as a preparatory measure for candidates gearing up for the main examination. Here's an overview of the mock exam results and the timeline for subsequent JAMB activities.

JAMB has released the results of the mock examination. Candidates can access their individual scores through the following methods:

OR

  • Send "RESULT" followed by your examination number to 55019.

  • You will receive your result via SMS

It's important to note that the mock exam is optional and does not impact the main UTME scores. However, it provides valuable feedback for candidates to identify areas needing improvement.

Upcoming JAMB Examination Timeline

The 2025 JAMB UTME will take place from April 25 to May 5, 2025, across multiple dates. Candidates will be assigned specific exam dates and times, so it’s important to reprint your examination slip starting from April 18, 2025 to confirm these details.

The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Testing (CBT) format, and candidates are advised to arrive at their exam centers at least 1 hour before their scheduled time. Ensure you bring your examination slip, a valid ID, and adhere to the prohibited items list (no phones or electronic devices).

Results will be released a few days after the exam, and candidates can check their scores online or via SMS. Afterward, they will proceed with the Post-UTME screening at their chosen institutions.

Preparation Tips for Candidates:

  • Review Your Mock Exam Performance: Analyze your mock exam results to identify strengths and areas needing improvement. Focus your study efforts on subjects or topics where you scored lower.

  • Stay Informed: Regularly check JAMB's official website and other trusted sources for any updates or changes to the examination schedule or procedures.

  • Stay Healthy: Ensure you maintain a balanced diet, get adequate rest, and engage in activities that reduce stress as the examination dates approach.

By staying informed and adequately preparing, candidates can approach the 2025 UTME with confidence and clarity.
